Hi Everyone!

The building competition event today was really successful! Thanks to all that entered and congrats to the winners, ofchusker and bobinator400! Since events are extremely popular on Mineverse, I've decided to plan next week's event already. It's a PvP tournament! This tournament will take place on May 11th at 8:00pm EST.

The tournament will consist of multiple rounds. The first round is qualifying. There is a limit of 16 spots in the entire tournament. The qualifying round will trim the 16 down to just 8. The second round will trim the 8 down to 4. The third round will trim the 4 down to the 2 finalists. Finally, the championship will crown the undisputed PvP king/queen!

Rules:

1. You cannot use your own items in the tournament. You will be provided with the basic needs for PvPing. These items consist of iron armor all with protection 1, a diamond sword with sharpness 1, a bow with power 1 and punch 1, 16 steak, and 64 arrows. This...

Just a quick note that the server has been updated to Minecraft version 1.5.2. You can no longer connect with any client running 1.5.1, so go and update! Nothing has changed in-game; just an MC version bump.

Hi Everyone! I want to start to do a lot more server events. This may include PvPing, Ultra Hardcore, etc. This Saturday, May 4th, at 8:00pm, Eastern Daylight Time, I'm going to be hosting a creative build competition. The theme of this competition is hobbit home. A hobbit home is a small, secluded getaway that is very small and cozy inside. The rules and prizes are listed below.

Rules:

1. You can enter as a pair with one other person, or as a single person.
2. The judges are staff. No arguing with their decisions!
3. WorldEdits will not be given out.
4. Any offending/disturbing builds will be destroyed, and the user banned and/or disqualified.
5. There will be a time limit of 45 minutes to complete your build. Once time is called, you cannot edit your build at all.
6. Any block is fair game.
7. Feel free to build into the ground.
8. There is no space limit to your build. Don't build into other people's space.
